This page explains the process Health Reviews Global uses when researching and publishing content about supplements and wellness products.
Step 1 — Product identification
We identify products based on consumer interest, search trends, and availability in key markets such as the United States and Europe. Products may be associated with affiliate or advertising partnerships, but selection for coverage is primarily driven by relevance to common wellness goals.
Step 2 — Source collection
For each product or topic, we gather information from:
- The official product website and materials provided by the manufacturer
- Publicly available scientific literature related to the main ingredients
- Regulatory and safety statements from recognized authorities where available
- User experiences and testimonials from official sources or major platforms
Step 3 — Claim assessment
We categorize claims into three general groups:
- Supported by established research: broadly consistent with existing scientific evidence
- Plausible but limited evidence: some data or traditional use, but not conclusive
- Manufacturer claims: statements made by the seller that have not been independently verified
Our content aims to explain which category a claim belongs to and to avoid presenting unverified claims as proven facts.
Step 4 — Writing and editorial review
Content is written in clear, non-technical language wherever possible. It is then reviewed for:
- Accuracy and consistency with available sources
- Compliance with our Editorial Policy and Medical Review Policy
- Proper use of disclaimers and cautious wording around health-related outcomes
Step 5 — Updates and revisions
We periodically review and update content as products, research, or regulatory information change. The date of the last update may be indicated on individual pages.
Limitations
